How the year-ahead spread works
- Twelve cards are laid out, one for each month from January to December — the energy worth keeping in mind that month.
- You draw it once. A new-year spread is like a promise for the year, so when you come back you’ll see the same cards.
- Visit each month. In 2027 the current month’s card glows. Taking just one “try this month” step at a time can change how your year feels.
Does a year-ahead reading decide my future?
No. It isn’t a fixed future — it’s a map of how you’d like to live this year. Take the cards you love as encouragement, and the ones that sting as areas to tend to early.
How are my keywords chosen?
The Major Arcana cards in your spread show the big currents of your year, so their core words become your keywords. We also look at which suit — Wands, Cups, Swords or Pentacles — shows up most.
